The original NES had a lot of great baseball games. RBI is one that comes to mind. You play them now and it doesn't seem real like the new games do but back then it sure seemed fun. One of the best was Baseball Stars. You were able to create your own teams. Build your own players up. Name them what you wanted. Play games and continue building them. This was before there were games on phones that made you pay an extra 20 bucks for 'Gold' to build up a team. Make a team and name everybody after the 1979 Royals, or the 1985 Cardinals or a team made up of dirty names.
You could add girl softball players to the team too. If you have a chance to find one of these games, play it and remember that this was before there were big gaming events. Hey it was pretty cool for the time.
