Sorry Madden Lovers but Super Techmo Bowl on the original Nintendo Entertainment System was and is the best Football game ever. Forget you can't change defenders, the defender you choose moves five times faster than anybody else does. Forget they only give you eight plays to choose from. It was the hours upon hours of fun that made this game the best. Kickers would attempt 90 yard field goals and only come up a few yards short. Warren Moon could throw a 100 yard pass to Ernest Givens for a TD. Randall Cunningham was known as QB Eagles. Which player gave you the best advantage?

Jerry Rice? The Guy could catch balls nowhere near him in triple coverage

Bo Jackson? He could stiff arm a great white shark

Lawrence Taylor? Couldn't be blocked

Christian Okoye?.....Only Steve Atwater could stop him
