Shane Falco and the Washington Sentinels show the world that hard work, heart, and a team caring about each other can overcome anything and win. Is the Replacements the best football movie ever?

With Keanu at his most likeable, Jon Favreau at some of his funniest, and Gene Hackman playing a coach like he always should, this movie has everything. The formula of struggling, broken players, learning how to make it work...bad guy spoiled over paid players...hot cheerleader side love story...and beating the pros at the end....this movie isn't anything necessarily new but it is a fun ride.

What other Football movies could possibly challenge?

Necessary Roughness, Brian's Song, Varsity Blue? Maybe Remember the Titans, maybe Rudy, maybe The Blind Side. All excellent movies and maybe a few of them are better technical movies but the Replacements is more fun than all of them and if you've ever been a part of a team that becomes your family you can find something in almost all of them.
